We spent a leisurely afternoon walking along the picturesque harbor, taking photos, and enjoying the cool sea breeze.


The lighthouse is located near the Paphos Archaeological Park, making it easy to combine both attractions in one visit. The park itself is open daily from 8 AM to 7:30 PM during the summer months, with a ticket price of around €4.50. After exploring the archaeological site, we enjoyed watching the sunset from the lighthouse area, where the sky turned into a canvas of orange and pink hues—a moment we’ll never forget!

A must-try dish is Meze, which is a delightful assortment of small dishes perfect for sharing. We enjoyed a vegetarian meze platter at a charming local taverna, filled with dishes like hummus, stuffed grape leaves, and grilled halloumi. This delectable platter cost us around €15 per person, and we left completely satisfied!


Another local favorite we couldn’t resist was Souvlaki, marinated chicken skewers grilled to perfection. Served with fresh pita and salad, this dish was not only tasty but also a great value at about €7. The fresh ingredients and vibrant flavors truly showcased the culinary richness of Cyprus.
